Description
This module introduces foundational principles of adult learning and instructional design. Participants learn how to design structured, evidence-based learning experiences aligned to TGH priorities, using established frameworks and educator best practices.
Learning Objectives
- Design inclusive, evidence‑based learning experiences by applying adult learning principles, instructional design frameworks (including ADDIE and SAM), Gagné’s Nine Events, and research‑supported learning strategies to real TGH scenarios.
- Create adaptable, rigorous learning solutions that balance structure with flexibility, supporting learner resilience, motivation, and meaningful real‑world application in healthcare environments.
- Demonstrate authentic educator presence by integrating self‑awareness, core values and leadership style into instructional practice to strengthen credibility, connection and learner trust.
- Develop learning content that promotes authenticity, kindness, vulnerability, and transparency from the facilitator and participants.
Target Audience
Any TGH team member involved in teaching, training, developing, or facilitating learning.
