Description

This course examines the confluence of power, leadership, influence, and personal credibility and how supporting others leads to effective inclusion, stronger partnerships, and increased collaboration resulting in increased motivation, communication, and organizational effectiveness.

Learning Objectives As a result of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Module 1: 1a. Identify the myths of Leading from the Middle 1b. Define leadership characteristics and qualities that encourage people to respond. 1c. Internalizing Leadership - Authentic Leadership
  • Module 2: 2a. Discuss the critical elements of personal accountability. 2b. Identify strategies for improving and modeling a culture of accountability.
  • Module 3: 3a. Discuss establishing and maintaining personal accountability 3b. Discuss how confidence is a critical element of credibility 
  • Module 4: 4a. Discuss ways of building solid relationships with others.  4b. Describe ways to influence and persuade positively.
  • Module 5: 5a. Explain the communication process and how the elements impact a message. 5b. Discuss the communication skills required for clear and confident expression.
  • Module 6 6a. Discuss workplace dynamics and the impact on collaboration. 6b. Discuss the purposes of cross-functional cooperation and why it is essential in organizations.
