Description:
This course is designed for healthcare leaders at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) who seek to enhance their strategic thinking and leadership skills to align their departments with TGH’s mission of providing world-class care and fostering innovation. Participants will learn practical frameworks, leadership qualities, and strategic tools to drive departmental success while supporting TGH’s goals of operational excellence, patient-centered care, and academic advancement.
Learning Objectives At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Develop strategic thinking skills to align departmental goals with TGH’s mission of innovation, operational excellence, and patient care.
- Apply leadership qualities such as Authenticity, Kindness, Transparency, and Vulnerability to foster collaboration and drive results.
- Utilize strategic analysis tools (e.g., SWOT and PESTLE) to identify opportunities and challenges within departments.
- Create actionable, measurable plans that support the broader organizational goals of TGH.
- Strengthen leadership capabilities to inspire teams, adapt strategies, and achieve long-term success in a dynamic healthcare environment.
