Description
This course equips team members with the tools and strategies needed to serve as effective preceptors, grounded in the TGH Principles of Precepting and the AKTiVe Leadership Model. Through interactive discussion, real-world scenarios, and reflective practice, participants will learn to support, coach, and empower new employees for long-term success.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Describe the TGH Principles of Precepting and explain the fundamentals of precepting
- Integrate AKTiVe leadership behaviors into day-to-day precepting practices
- Design personalized learning experiences to optimize the success of new employees at TGH
- Apply AKTiVe-based strategies to navigate common preceptorship challenges through scenario-based discussion and role play
