Description
Information technology has become integrated into every aspect of our daily lives. This integration has, unfortunately, created vulnerabilities that leave us susceptible to data breaches at every turn. This engaging course will highlight the most common vulnerabilities and introduce participants to cybersecurity basics. This new knowledge will empower participants to live and work in a more secure environment.
Learning Objectives As a result of attending this session, participants will:
- Understand the importance of cybersecurity, include data security related to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
- Review practices and procedures to create a more secure environment (workplace, home, mobile, traveling) .
- Explore and understand the anatomy of a cybersecurity attack and the different types of malicious software.
