Have you ever received help from a supervisor or coworker that wasn’t helpful? Cheryl Gray, M.A., a doctoral candidate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of South Florida, will share insights on her research into unhelpful help and provide advice about how to give helpful help.

Learning Objectives As a result of attending this session, you will learn to:

  • Learn why well-intended efforts to support one another at work are not always helpful.
  • Gain tools to make the help you provide to colleagues more effective.
