Description
Accounting and financial information is all around us, including several business news cable stations that broadcast 24/7. A basic understanding of reading financial statements is useful in one’s job, as well as personal wealth accumulation. This engaging course is designed for students who have wanted to learn the basics of accounting and financial statements, but haven’t known where to turn.
Learning Objectives As a result of attending this session, you will:
- Recognize the three basic financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Understand the relationship between these three statements.
- Comprehend the basic accounting concepts that generate financial statements.
- Start to understand how to evaluate the financial health of a business from their financial statements.
