This three-module course from FranklinCovey will teach team members who are not officially in a project management role how to lead projects – both big and small – successfully. Specifically, participants will learn how to exercise informal authority and implement a disciplined process to execute projects with quality and within budget. Participants will learn the six-step process for managing projects and have the opportunity to practice using their new knowledge and tools in small group projects outside of virtual class time.
Learning Objectives As a result of completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop an awareness of their behavioral and communication preferences in the workplace.
- Create a shared vision and set clear expectations with the team for project success
- Develop a project plan
- Guide a team through project execution using tools to monitor and control the project
- Close a project while measuring success and identifying lessons learned
